On March 22, the 2026 3rd China Cycling Tour and the 2nd Fujian Fu'an Baiyunshan Cycling Race, themed by Tanyang Gongfu· Pipi Tea, kicked off successfully in Fu'an. Centering on the in-depth integration of sports, cultural tourism and tea industry and featuring the slogan Peach blossoms and tea gardens line the road; Fu'an is a land of charm, the event aims to build a high-end cycling brand with nationwide influence and fully showcase Fu'an's stunning natural scenery and profound cultural charm.

The elaborately designed race route links major scenic spots including downtown Fu'an, Baiyunshan, Muyun She Township, Hutou Peach Orchard and Tanyang Tea Valley. Boating picturesque landscapes and rich cultural heritage along the way, the route has been listed among China's Top 100 Classic Cycling Routes. The competition consists of three categories: Honorary Leisure Ride, 80km Public Ride and Professional Hill Climbing Race. A total of 898 cycling enthusiasts from 12 countries including France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Ukraine, as well as 11 provincial-level regions such as Shanghai, Zhejiang and Guangdong, gathered in Fu'an to compete.

In the lovely spring month of March, tens of thousands of peach blossoms are in full bloom at Hutou. They set off the magnificent landscapes of Baiyunshan, the distinctive customs of Muyun She Township and the time-honored culture of Tanyang Gongfu tea, forming a breathtaking landscape of blooming peach flowers and lush tea plantations. While racing for speed and passion, participants immersed themselves in the natural beauty, folk customs and profound tea culture of eastern Fujian. During the event, a series of supporting activities were also held locally, including tea culture exhibitions, special agricultural product fairs and immersive cultural tourism experiences. The event effectively integrates sports events with tea-tourism economy and rural revitalization, and fulfills the development goal of boosting tourism via sports, vitalizing tea industry through tourism, and enriching people with tea business.
