Xita Village is located in Muyun She Ethnic Township, Fu'an City. It connects to the scenic Baiyun Mountain to the north and enjoys convenient transportation. The village's name derives from a former pagoda by the stream. Its founding ancestor, Huan Gong, migrated from Shouning County during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, approximately 500 years ago, later making it the largest settlement of origin for the Lan family lineage in the Ningde region.To conserve arable land, villagers ingeniously built trellises over the stream using iron wires, allowing wild grape vines to intertwine and form a continuous, 6-kilometer-long "grape ditch" landscape—lush canopy above and babbling water below. In March 2013, "Xita Thorn Grape" obtained the Geographical Indication Certification Trademark from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. In September 2015, Xita Village, jointly with Hutou Village, established the Muyun She Ethnic Township Eco-Tourism Zone, which successfully passed inspection, becoming one of two National AAA Tourist Attractions in the city. In August 2016, it was awarded the title "China's Most Beautiful Grape Ditch" by the Grape Branch of the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science.By integrating She ethnic culture with Thorn Grape culture, Xita Village has continuously held thirteen Thorn Grape Harvest Festivals and traditional She song gatherings, enriching the ethnic folk experience. It has developed various tourism products such as ethnic cultural tourism, rural tourism, and water-friendly tourism, crafting a unique She township tourism route.
